Wow! Close to 100! Time to Celebrate!

Wow!  I cannot believe how close I am to 100 followers!  As of this writing, I have 96!  Woo hoo!  Okay, so it never gets old when I get a new follower.  Granted, I may not jump up and happy dance, but I can do a little wiggle and cheer :)  Just kidding (maybe).  

I started this blog because I was inspired by other teacher blogs I saw and thought...hmm...I could do that!  I have some cute ideas to share!  

Well, to be truthful, it all started with Pinterest.  Last Fall, my best friend (a Kindergarten teacher) urged me to sign up and sent me an invite.  OMG!  Talk about overload!  It was FANTASTIC for someone who used Google Images to search for ideas/topics!   

So from Pinterest, I clicked on links and found a whole plethora of teacher blogs! I was inspired to share my OWN ideas and....well, here I am almost a year later (I got up my nerve and started blogging in January!).  

Okay, enough nostalgia.  :)  I've noticed on other blogs, they've celebrated their 100 followers, and I think it sounds like a great idea!  So, in the next few days, I'll be publishing some FREEBIES for you to grab to celebrate the time you take to read my posts!  I'll also be publishing some cool ideas I've found to revitalize my Famous Americans unit.  Last year, we did this in February, so to see those posts, click {here}.  Okay, so I couldn't get it to link to those posts...hmmm...so for now, until I can, use the "Search" box to the side (sorry!).  Still working out the kinks. :)
