Super Sales!

What a weekend coming up!

First, the groundhog will (hopefully) NOT see his shadow, and we'll have an early Spring!  We're at the point that we used up our 10 days, and now we have to add on to the end of the school year (our days are lengthening by 20 minutes starting Monday) if we miss any more days. Boo hiss!

Then, of course, we have the other part of "Super Sunday."  My husband's in heaven because 1) UVA has a game that day and 2) coverage for the BIG game starts at 11am!  Yikes!  I mean, how many times can we analyze what these teams have done in one season?  Sorry, I'm not the biggest football fan!

Our first "Super Sale" comes from Teacher's Notebook.  My store is 40% off EVERYTHING and of course, they'll give you an extra 10% on top of that, as well as a special sweepstakes!  Gotta love it!

If you're not a Teacher's Notebook shopper, you can head over to Teachers Pay Teachers!  I found this linkup here for awesome resources marked just $1!

With the sale, here are some of my items that are marked at 80 cents!

Billy and the Magic String

 Button Button....Identifying Attributes

Candy Cane Counting: Place Value to Tens and Hundreds

 Clink Clank...What's In My Bank?

I'm also hooking up with Enriching Kinders to promote our sale on TpT on our ENTIRE stores for 20% off!  Being second grade, I have students that benefit from Kindergarten and first grade materials, so I'm always on the lookout! Definitely check her out on Instagram - she always has the coolest ideas!

Here are some of her awesome products!

 COUNT THE ROOM: BUTTERFLY THEME

MAKING SENSE OF CENTS: MY MONEY BOOK
 SIGHT WORD DETECTIVES
I Have, Who Has? Dino Numbers 0-20

 Arctic Tallies Pack

Resources4Teaching.com | Secure and full-featured Online Shopping Portal for Educational Purposes

Back in August, I was nicely contacted by Martin Legault, asking me if I would be interested in joining as a "Teacher Vendor" for a new website he had created called "Resources 4 Teaching."

So, it's taken me awhile to get my ducks in a row, but I finally had some procrastination "down time" this weekend, and set up my first 3 products.

It's such a cute website!  It's based in Ontario, Canada, so I have to admit, I felt a little guilt putting up my "Citizenship Bundle", so I relabeled it the "US Version"....now, hmmm, where can I find cute clipart with Canadian kids? :)  There are a few things to tweak (president=prime minister, red/white/blue outfits to Canadian flags, etc), but I think I'll be able to publish a Canadian version (and maybe Australian), since the basic concepts of the unit are treating each other with respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, etc.  Add that to my "to do" list!

I also added my Word Families packet 1 (I plan on doing more) and my "Apples to Bananas:  Word Story Problems" as well.  I was so excited that my Word Families Packet became the featured product of the day!

I realize that this is the 3rd teacher product site (that I know of) out there, but I have to admit, since it's small, it's easier to find things without having to go thru pages and pages.  In no way shape or form am I going to leave TpT or TN in the dust, mind you!  So many fabulous products have been uploaded on both!  However, it was nice to see other products that maybe I hadn't thought about before, or seen before.

Because it's based in Ontario, there are taxes added to the products.  However, I'm off to go buy some of the super cute ESL products on there to help out my lil' D in my class.  Bless his heart, you can tell he's so smart, but the language barrier can sometimes get to him!

I hope you'll go check it out!  Click on the link at the top and check it out! :)

Life Cycles, Fractions, and Rounding...Oh My!

I have posted some different activities/games on Teachers Pay Teachers....I'm pretty proud of them! My class is sooo into Scoot, I find myself going and making new Scoot games for review in math, as well as branching out into our current Science unit! I try to make them versatile for every teacher, including cards up to 30 for those larger classes. My students are too cute...they are even requesting "Scoot" for reading! (One of my students even demonstrated during reading groups how we could do it!) I think my "to do" list for Spring Break is growing! :)

So, let me show off what I've done so far....click on any of the pictures to see more details.
Fraction Action includes suggestions for games to use the cards with, including recognition of fractions and equivalent fractions! I am so excited to have a set of cards to be able to use for different games in my classroom, as well as being an extra set of flash cards!

You don't have to have the book to use this activity (but I find it's usually available in any school library or in a buddy's classroom...Pat Hutchins is VERY popular!).

Be sure to check them out on my TpT store! Right now, I have them priced CHEAP! Next up will be a Fact/Opinion Scoot and a Telling Time to the Nearest Five Minutes Scoot (as soon as I can get them done!).

Oh, quick question....I'm thinking of expanding into a"Teacher's Notebook" store. For a one-time fee of $19.95, you get 100% of your profits (minus any Paypal fees). Do any of you have a Teacher's Notebook store? How well does it do? I think TpT is more popular, but it sounds like Teacher's Notebook is friendlier. Just curious if anyone knows a difference or has a preference? Thanks so much for the input!!!!
